We are seeking to add an experienced Photo/Video-Showroom Merchandiser to produce sales by serving as lead visual stylist, and developing new visual design trends for our multiple showrooms in Dallas and High Point. The Photo-Showroom Merchandiser will also be responsible for the selection, styling and dressing of sets for photographing/videotaping our products which will be used in print and digital advertising campaigns including catalogs, social media, websites and for use on e-commerce platforms.

This exciting career opportunity requires managing a team of photographers and videographers and construction/warehouse crew to ensure photo and video shoots run efficiently and on deadline.

This position requires domestic travel several times each year.

 

Responsibilities:

-Planning and developing merchandising strategies.

-Analyzing sales figures, customers reactions and market trends to anticipate product-needs.

-Merchandize, prop and style 4 showrooms.

-Oversee studio, showroom, and location photography/videography.

-Implement brand style and photography/videography guides with a creative and critical eye.

-Understand e-commerce photography best practices and apply to company style guidelines.

-Lead photo planning; direct photographers/videographers and warehouse crew.

-Present final image selection to management for review.

-Manage image folders and file naming system.

-Streamline photography process and drive continuous improvement of image quality and branding standards.

-Source art, furniture, props, wall coverings and florals according to company, industry and seasonal trends.

-Work with Marketing/Creative Team to create looks for all brands.

-Establish showroom propping style guidelines.

 

Qualifications:

-3-5 years minimum professional experience in a high-end, high-volume catalog, retail, e-comm, advertising or other commercial photography environment.

-Interior Design education and background.

-Photo studio experience is a plus.

-Experience with project management and leadership.

-Exceptional time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.

-Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

-Proficient in Adobe CS, Microsoft Word and Excel.
