2012 Solid-State Lighting Market Introduction Workshop Presentations And Materials

Nearly 200 attendees gathered July 18–19 in Pittsburgh to share the latest updates and strategies for successful market introduction of high-quality, energy-efficient SSL solutions. With a wide breadth of speakers and an equally diverse audience—ranging from manufacturers, lighting distributors, energy efficiency organizations, and utilities to municipalities and government—the workshop covered a rich mix of current industry topics.
Attendees noted the “excellent panels of experts” and “great way to get an overview of the LED market,” as well as the emphasis on “real-life experiences” of retailers, distributors, managers, and municipalities. The workshop was preceded by a series of tutorials on July 17 for those new to SSL, along with an evening bus tour of LED installations.
