4 Inch Square Architectural Downlights Introduced By NSpec, A Division Of Nora Lighting
September 18, 2013
The Q4 Series, new 4-inch square low voltage downlights for architectural, commercial and residential applications, is now available from NSpec, the architectural and specifier division of Nora Lighting.
Square aperture reflectors with square housings have become a popular design choice in contemporary interiors because of their minimal, modernist appearance.
Three reflector styles are available: 4-inch square adjustable frosted lensed (wet labeled); 1.5-inch square adjustable pinhole; and 3-inch-square open adjustable reflector. The 1.5-inch square pinhole offers hot aiming and includes a snoot for maximum light output. The 3-inch square aperture reflector has double axis aiming and a front-loading lamp holder.
Lamp holders feature die-cast aluminum construction to help dissipate heat and ensure longer life. The lamp holders are also deep set for visual comfort and can accommodate two filters. Die cast aluminum surface trims with crisp sharp corners are offered in four finishes: black, bronze, natural metal and white.
Q4 recessed housings are available with electronic or magnetic transformers and are dimmable and cULus listed. They can be installed in new construction or remodeling applications. Reduced wattage correlation labels for LED lamp or MR16 options (10W to 37W) are available to meet watts-per-square-foot requirements.
