Alloy LED Introduces Mud-In Channels for Seamless Integration Into Ceilings and Walls
May 05, 2022
Alloy LED, a leading designer and manufacturer of premium quality LED tape lights, today announced the introduction of the Mudr 1 and Mudr 2 Mud-In Channels, providing seamless integration into ceilings and walls. The aluminum channels feature a unique, patent-pending lens design allowing for even illumination across the entire surface of the lens from one edge to the other edge.
“Compared to other in-wall solutions on the market, we engineered our patent-pending channel lens to illuminate uniformly across the entire lens, eliminating dark edges for a better performance and look,” said Joe Flynn, president, Alloy LED.
Offered in ½-inch and 1-inch nominal widths, the trimless Mudr channels install flush into 5/8-inch drywall, resulting in clean, modern lines of high-impact linear light from a choice of 19 of Alloy LED’s extensive line of 36 white and color-changing tape light solutions.
The thoughtful design allows tape lights to seamlessly wrap from the ceiling down the wall or for zigzag and other unique configurations. The channels are compatible with the company’s standard linking system and are field cuttable. Factory mitre cuts are available through the Alloy LED customization program.
The Mudr channels feature high-quality aluminum construction with a frosted polycarbonate lens, available in 4- and 7-foot kits. The products provide protection from moisture, dust and other elements, while offering a thermally balanced heat sink, cooling and prolonging the lifespan of the tape light.
An ideal solution for offices, hospitality, healthcare and residential environments, the Mudr 1 and Mudr 2 Mud-In Channels allow for endless LED linear design possibilities.
