Bulbrite Donates Pink Light Bulbs To Fight Breast Cancer

November 01, 2011

To help support Breast Cancer patient education, research, and care while recognizing October as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Bulbrite has donated pink light bulbs to The Society of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center Thrift Shop. Based in Manhattan’s East Side in New York City, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center is one of the world’s premiere cancer centers. Bulbrite is a leading manufacturer and supplier of innovative, energy-efficient light source solutions.

For every Bulbrite Pink Light Bulb purchased through the Cancer Center Thrift Shop, 100% of the proceeds will be donated to help support breast cancer research, education, screening, and treatment.

“We are proud to participate in this Breast Cancer Awareness Program,” said Cathy Choi, president of Bulbrite. “We hope that we can make a difference, no matter how small, on the lives of people with breast cancer and their loved ones.”

Bulbrite’s A19 Pink Light Bulbs, which are offered in a vibrant ceramic pink color, are suited to decorative and display applications in the home, as well as for sign, display, amusement, and theater applications. Bulbrite is donating 25W A19 lamps with an E26 base (120V). Pink A19 bulbs are also available in 40W and 60W.
