Eaton Showcases Advanced LED Technology, Previews New reSOURCE Center At CTA LIGHTING FORUM XVI

Power management company Eaton, a 2015 ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year, will showcase energy-efficient lighting-emitting diode (LED) solutions and it’s latest controls technology at the Crites-Tidey & Associates, Inc. (CTA), LIGHTING FORUM XVI in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on September 15 and 16 at the Crown Plaza Hotel. Visitors to Eaton’s displays will also have the opportunity to preview The Lighting reSOURCE to be launched next month.
“The Lighting reSOURCE 24/7 online hub will provide industry professionals from veteran to novice with information, education and tools to move projects from inspiration to execution,” said Kraig Kasler, president, Eaton’s Lighting Division. “This lighting forum is an opportunity for professionals to see our latest energy-efficient LED lighting and controls technologies, helping them assist their customers with new technologies in this fast pasted and ever-changing industry.”
Hosted by CTA, the 16th biennial event offers the opportunity for local designers, builders, distributors and contractors to attend complimentary educational seminars – with some qualifying for continuing education credits by Eaton presenters. The seminars are designed to broaden the understanding of the latest advanced lighting and controls technologies and solutions.
In addition to previewing The Lighting reSOURCE, Eaton will showcase numerous products featuring the company’s latest LED technologies and scalable control systems, including its award-winning WaveStream™ LED technology and AccuLED Optics™ system for indoor and outdoor commercial applications. Eaton’s Integrated Controls Sensor System that reduces the design time and complexity of meeting energy codes for both lighting and controls will be on display, as well as Eaton’s LumaWatt Outdoor Wireless Control and Monitoring System, which manages the lighting levels according to pedestrian and traffic safety needs.
During the two-day event, Eaton’s will host a number of educational seminars.
Tuesday, September 15
8:00 to 9:00 a.m. - Scott Teschendorf, market development manager and David Zitek, regional sales manager will give an “Outdoor Presentation” on the latest product technologies and the benefit these offer customers.
2:00 to 3:00 p.m. - National Sales Manager Ed Larkin and Midwest Area Sales Manager Mike Flannigan will present the benefits and appropriate applications for product controls solutions to satisfy customers’ cost-effective needs.
3:30 to 4:30 p.m. - Zitek and Chip Taylor, area vice president, Central Region, will speak at a seminar on “Interior Solutions,” presenting the latest product technologies, their advantages and strategies to find the best solutions for customers.
Wednesday, September 16
8:30 to 9:30 a.m. - Flannigan will give a seminar on “Addressable Lighting Controls” offering attendees the opportunity for continuing education credits to satisfy requirements for their professional organizations.
2:30 to 3:30 p.m. - Carla Bukalski, specifications regional sales manager and Kandice Cohen, national business development manager, will give the last seminar on “Using Energy Incentives to Inspire Design.”
