U.S. Architectural has expanded the Galaxy Series, a versatile collection of streetscape fixtures with more than 100 different design options. The complete Galaxy line can be viewed in the new Galaxy Product Catalog, available free to industry professionals by calling 800-877-6537 or via email at: [email protected].
Galaxy now features 13 models with varied heights and widths, depending on site requirements. Options include interchangeable hoods and diffusers in multiple sizes and designs, along with unique mounting arms in arch, deco, yoke, post top and swooped styling.
Galaxy luminaires are offered in seven light distribution patterns with either horizontal or vertical lamps, ranging from 70 to 400 watts. Computer-designed specular segmented reflectors produce efficient sharp cut-off light patterns when using horizontal lamps, or wide-angle light distribution when using vertical lamps.
Galaxy lanterns can be wall or pole-mounted, singly or in clusters up to four fixtures. Finishes include dark bronze, medium bronze, black, white or aluminum. Custom colors can also be specified. and fixtures are UL-listed for wet locations.
All Galaxy models feature Accuhinge™, new tool-less access to the lamp and reflector compartment. Virtually invisible, the swing-away Accuhinge™ allows the installer to rotate the reflector in 90 degree increments for precise positioning. Quick-Disconnect plugs also permit easy removal of the ballast and reflector assemblies during routine maintenance.
All Galaxy fixtures are constructed from corrosion-resistant aluminum and mounting arms are built for strength with heavy-wall extruded aluminum. A one-piece die-formed aluminum door frame surrounds the lens. The polyester powder-coated finish is baked to 400 degrees for maximum hardness and durability.
Professional contractors who purchase Galaxy fixtures automatically qualify for a cash-back factory rebate.
