Lighting Research Center Releases Video Series On Light and Health

The Lighting Research Center (LRC) at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute has released a series of short videos on the science of lighting for human health. The videos are now available on YouTube and on the LRC website.
“We created these videos to help viewers understand how light affects people,” said Dr. Mariana Figueiro, LRC Director.
A total of nine videos are planned for release this year, covering topics such as how to provide healthy lighting for office workers, lighting in schools, and the future of circadian lighting.
The videos were produced with funding from the Light and Health Alliance, which includes Acuity Brands; Cree; Current, powered by GE; Ketra; OSRAM; Philips Lighting; and USAI Lighting.
