Lusio Solid-State Lighting, a worldwide brand and division of LightWild, today announced BC Hydro approval of its commercial and industrial LED fixtures.  The fixtures (2x2 models with high light output) are listed in the “LED Lighting” category of BC Hydro’s e.Catalog. 

BC Hydro’s engineering team evaluates all products to ensure they meet their energy efficiency criteria, before approving and listing them in the e.Catalog.  Based on their approval, customers installing Lusio fixtures are eligible to receive rebates from the Canadian utility company. 

LIGHTWORKS, Lusio Solid-State Lighting’s representative in British Columbia, assisted in the BC Hydro submittal process. Earlier this year, Lusio fixtures were named the top high bay products in the solid-state lighting market as designated by the Platinum Award in Architectural SSL magazine’s annual Product Innovation Awards.  In addition to being BC Hydro approved, Lusio SSL fixtures are also Design Lights Consortium qualified, Lighting Facts (U.S. Department of Energy) certified, UL and CE listed, and RoHS compliant.
