Myers EPS Names John Rimbos Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Myers Emergency Power Systems (Myers EPS), a leading designer and manufacturer of backup power solutions, today announced the appointment of John Rimbos as the vice president of sales and marketing. Rimbos will be responsible to lead the development and execution of sales and marketing strategies to drive the company’s continued growth and overall sales.
An effective leader with over 30 years of sales management experience in the electrical and lighting industries, Rimbos excels in strategic planning, team leadership, sales acumen and driving business development and growth. He is proficient in staff management, process streamlining, problem resolution and risk management. Rimbos is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt.

Prior to joining the Myers EPS team, Rimbos’ extensive experience includes sales management positions at General Electric, Cree, Terralux, Hatch Lighting and Crescent Electric Supply. Most recently, he was the director of national and strategic accounts for the Chicago-based lighting agency KSA Lighting and Controls.
Rimbos received his bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University. He will reside in Chicago, Illinois.
