NEMA To Host Webcast On Reducing Building Energy Use With The Latest Lighting Management Technology

The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA), representing American lighting manufacturers, will present a webcast on Thursday, September 15 from 1-2 p.m. (EDT), hosted by Building Operating Management magazine. The event focuses on the latest lighting control technologies, strategies and systems that will enable building managers to approach net-zero energy use and achieve sustainability goals.
 
In addition to highlighting the latest information on digital lighting controls, wireless systems, advanced daylighting and window shade controls, and occupancy sensors, the webcast will address energy code compliance and intelligent building systems integration.

The presenters:
 
Bob Freshman, marketing manager with Leviton Manufacturing Company, works on commercializing products designed to simplify the adoption of energy conserving lighting controls into both new and existing buildings. He has been involved in the development, specification, and marketing of energy management lighting control products for Leviton.
 
Mike Houston, product line manager with WattStopper, is involved with many industry organizations including participation in the IES, ASHRAE, and NEMA. Through his experience in many areas of the supply chain, Mr. Houston has gained a well-rounded perspective and knowledge of lighting controls and their applications.
 
Michael Jouaneh, marketing manager with Lutron Electronics, is active in the development of the nation’s top energy and green building codes and standards. He is the author of several published articles, white papers, and case studies on high performance green buildings, energy conservation, and sustainability.
