Nora Multiple Lighting Systems Offers Independently Adjustable And Switched Fixtures

February 07, 2011

Nora Lighting offers one of the industry’s most versatile lines of Multiple Lighting Systems (MLS) for commercial, retail and gallery installations. With a varied choice of architecturally-appealing designs, Nora MLS fixtures have a 2 ¼” regressed closed face for a finished look and less cluttered ceiling appearance.

Nora MLS fixtures feature one to five light openings that can be independently adjusted and controlled to highlight merchandise, artwork, wall displays or other site features. Models in a range of styles present designers and installers with creative options to coordinate fixture styles with individual sites. Configurations include a linear row with one to five lamps; square system with four lamps; and L-shaped fixtures with two to three lights.

Various lamp sources are available: low voltage (50W to 75W); PAR halogen incandescent (75W to 150W); and energy-saving high color rendition HID ceramic metal halide (20W to 70W). Nora’s selection of finishes include: white face and white fixtures with white flange; black face and black fixtures with white flange; and silver face with silver fixtures and silver flange. Lamp sources and trims can be mixed or matched in the same MLS fixture.

Lamps can be tilted 32° to 90° and rotated 360°.  All Nora MLS fixtures are cULus listed for damp locations. Housings can be installed in drywall, plaster or suspended ceilings and are constructed from heavy-gauge galvanized steel and vented on the topside for cool operation to extend lamp life. Ballasts and transformers are accessible from below to facilitate servicing. Each unit has a wiring channel with leads from each socket, allowing independent switching or dimming.
