San Jose Manufacturing R And D Workshop Presentations Posted

With nearly 200 attendees and two days of formal and informal discussion, the fourth annual DOE SSL Manufacturing R&D Workshop was held in San Jose, California. The workshop provided a unique opportunity to gain cutting-edge perspective on manufacturing issues, global manufacturing trends, and strategies for improving product quality and reducing costs. During the workshop, speakers and participants examined SSL manufacturing issues and discussed proposed updates to the DOE SSL Manufacturing R&D Roadmap. This exchange will fuel the continuing development of the DOE manufacturing initiative, guide final updates to the roadmap, and inform DOE planning for upcoming R&D solicitations.
