September 21, 2008
The streamlined body design, which reduces EPA values, features external top ribbing that dissipates heat and increases both ballast life and lamp performance.
Computer-designed specular segmented reflectors provide a wide range of light distribution patterns, including Type II, Type III, Type IV, Type V –Sq. and Type FT with rear cut-off. Scilux is dark sky compliant and UL-listed for wet locations.
Scilux is offered in two sizes: Model SCX measures 32” long x 20” wide for lamps with 150 to 400 watts. The smaller Model SCXM measures 24” long x 15” wide for lamps with 70 to 175 watts.
Both Scilux models can be wall or pole mounted (with square or round mountings) and installed as single fixtures or in twin, triple or quad clusters.
Designed for simplified installation and servicing, Scilux features Instaleze™, the tool-less access to the reflector and ballast compartment.
The Scilux body is constructed from durable cast aluminum and features a 3-mil polyester powder coating in a range of colors, including: dark bronze, medium bronze, black, white and silver. The finish is baked at 400° for maximum hardness and longer-lasting durability. EPDM gaskets seal the door frame from contaminants.
