Transition Transcends Existing Fixture Efficiencies
July 10, 2011
Until now, architectural presentation was often compromised for optimum energy performance. Not anymore. Satisfy both the need for fixture efficiency and the desire for high-end styling with Columbia Lighting’s new Transition® fixtures.
The sophisticated gull-wing curves of Transition are enhanced with soft, matte white reflectors to provide uniform illumination and high visual comfort. The deep, sculpted look created by the balanced reflector lens compliments any space. Designed with precision optics and a custom-engineered polyester coating, Transition® configurations achieve unprecedented performance with efficiencies from 90% to 100%.
The Transition® family of fixtures features three lamp sizes available in five different configurations offering maximum versatility in most applications. With all of these design options, Transition meets more energy code and rebate requirements than the competition.
The completely recessed housing provides a clean, unobstructed ceiling line at mounting heights as low as eight feet. Ideal for schools, medical facilities, and general public spaces, Transition® fluorescents are available with an optional clear acrylic dust guard that pivots to close off the lamp compartment. This debris shield excludes contaminants, maintains fixture efficiency, and reduces fixture maintenance.
