US Green Building Council Strategic Plan 2009-2013

The U.S. Green Building Council’s strategic plan sets forth its vision for the next five years. While being green has become mainstream, green buildings and other green products remain very small percentages of total market shares.
USGBC realizes that the pace of change must increase to prevent significant deterioration of ecological conditions in many places around the world. Included in the plan is a summary of key strategic issues facing the green building community in general and USGBC in particular; an update to USGBC’s Guiding Principles; and the agenda, program goals and implementation strategy for transformation.
