elliptipar LED S500 Series Receives DLC v5.1 Qualification for NEW Linear Lighting Fixtures
March 11, 2021
Today The Lighting Quotient® announces elliptipar®‘s NEW S514, S516 and S518 fixtures are now approved for DLC v5.1 (Design Lights Consortium.) The S500 series Linear Direct, Indirect and Direct/Indirect luminaires include multiple beam distributions and mounting options.
DLC v5.1 is the new, rigorous version of Design Lights Consortium’s energy and performance qualification standards. elliptipar® was awarded new credits for high performance luminaires featuring low UGR (Unified Glare Rating.)
All 3 styles include a wide batwing uplight distribution to broadly and evenly illuminate any ceiling with minimal suspension distance. Additional downlight distribution choices for general, narrow batwing and wide batwing beam patterns are available NOW. All S500’s have a sleek, contemporary design and low profile.
The S514 luminaire provides beautiful, uniform shadow-free indirect only illumination.
The S516 adds a bi-asymmetric downward distribution ideal for illuminating opposing vertical surfaces such as corridors, library and archival stacks, grocery aisles and computer server farms. The UGR* for this luminaire is 9.8 across and 8.5 along.
The S518 has a low brightness downward distribution ideal for general lighting and features a UGR* of 10.5 across and 9.3 along.
*Based on Corrected UGR (Room Dimension: X=4H, Y=8H, Reflectances: 70/50/20%, S/H: 1)
